Required Fitness

Bicycle touring can be enjoyed by anyone with even a minimum level of fitness.  We do recommend that you spend some time on a bike in advance of your tour to make sure that you are comfortable riding on multiple days.  We always encourage riders to ride at their own pace, not to try to keep up with a faster rider or feel obligated to wait for a slower one.  Our support vans are always nearby in case you want to take a "leap frog" shuttle ahead on the route.
